Terms of Service
Draft — last updated 2026-09-09. This has not yet had a formal legal review; treat it as a good-faith statement of how the service actually works, not a finished legal document.
1. The service
Guild Manager ("the Service") is a Discord bot that schedules recurring in-game events, collects RSVPs, and tracks attendance for a Discord server ("your server"). It is operated by a single independent developer, not a company.
2. Accounts and access
There is no separate account — the Service is used entirely through Discord. Access to administrative commands is controlled by Discord server permissions and by capabilities your server's own administrators delegate through /permissions.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid features are billed per game provider your server enables, at one flat price with no trial and no proration, through our payment processor (Polar). A failed charge is given a 24-hour grace period before paid features are suspended; nothing is deleted when that happens, and access resumes automatically once payment succeeds. You can cancel or manage your subscription through /subscription status or the payment processor's own billing portal.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or to interfere with the Service's operation for other servers. We reserve the right to suspend a server's access to the Service for abuse.
5. Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis by a single-operator, self-hosted deployment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for missed events, lost RSVP history, or other consequences of downtime, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Changes
These terms may change as the Service changes. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
